Female gospel musician Joyce Blessing says having a hit song is something every musician cherishes.
The award-winning musician posited that having hit songs boosts the confidence of a musician and gives them some form of energy.
She made the point on the mid-morning show with Sokoohemaa Kukua on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM in a recent interview.
‘’Having a hit song gives all kings of feelings. It gives you energy. It boosts your confidence. It makes me feel that your work is having an impact. It gives you a great experience,’’ she noted.
She indicated that God has always been the factor for her since she started commercial music.
Joyce Blessing also stated that music is her calling, but money is her reality.
When questioned about how she allocates her time between music and cocoa farming, Joyce Blessing responded, ”Music consumes the majority of my time, as it has established my identity. Music is the medium through which God recognizes me. While music takes precedence, financial realities necessitate additional income streams, prompting my venture into farming.”
