The Ghana High Authority has informed the public of maintenance works on the Apedwa-Ejisu stretch of the Accra-Kumasi Highway.
This is to restore the pavement’s riding quality and improve safety and traffic flow.
The Highway Authority, in a statement, indicated that the maintenance activities are aimed at improving the riding quality of the road and extending its service life.
It told the public and motorists that some sections of the road will experience lane closure during the maintenance work.
Motorists are advised to expect reduced speeds and possible delays, but contractors will put in place adequate traffic management measures to ensure safe passage, the statement said.
