Liberal Party of Ghana’s parliamentary candidate for the Bekwai constituency, Lovista Owusu, has promised to role out one student ‘bofrot’ originally known as buff loaf if he is elected as the MP in the upcoming parliamentary election.

He stated the school feeding initiative was a positive initiative, which he would want to improve by launching his ‘one student, one bofrot’ policy.

According to him, this would not provide the basic school students with healthy meals and create opportunities for those who sell ‘bofrot’ in the constituency.

He said this while on a campaign activity in the constituency.

I want to improve on President Akufo-Addo’s school feeding initiative. I want to improve and make things better. So I am elected as the next Member of Parliament, and I will launch the ‘one student, one bofrot’ initiative. This will benefit students in primary one through primary six, as well as junior school students in form one through three.

He also promised to prioritise the concerns of traders in his constituency and has admonished them to vote for him massively.

‘’If I am elected as your MP, I will prioritise the concerns of traders in this constituency. I will represent your interests if you vote for me come December 7, 2024,’’ he added.
