Dr. Clement Apaak, Member of Parliament for Builsa South, has highlighted over 130 projects and support systems implemented since being elected.
Among other initiatives, the lawmaker has built new classrooms and renovated other educational infrastructure in various communities throughout the constituency.
He has also begun drilling boreholes in constituency communities that have historically struggled to access safe drinking water.
Dr Apaak has also been credited with building toilets, renovating teachers’ quarters and constructing a maternity ward at Bachonsa CHIPS Compound.
Kanjarga, for example, had ten boreholes drilled at various locations throughout the community.
In terms of overall accomplishments, the MP donated two motorcycles to the education directorate, 22 desktop computers to the directorate for distribution to various schools, and dual desk furniture to the directorate for distribution to schools.
The MP also purchased laptop computers for the health directorate to distribute to health facilities, repaired the constituency ambulance, which was in disrepair, sponsored 182 youth in various vocations of their choice, and provided GHC 23,500.00 to five women’s groups to help connect electricity to two rice mills and roof two other facilities.
He is also credited with gravelling several deplorable roads in the constituency, as well as facilitating the construction of Fumbisi Senior High School’s boys dormitory, a girls dormitory, an administration block, a dining hall, and two semi-detached teachers quarters, as well as donating a Toyota Hilux pickup to the school.
