CAF Women’s Champions League prize money increased by 52%

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has increased the CAF Women’s Champions League prize money by 52%.

The winner of the championship will receive $600,000, while the runner-up will receive $400,000, followed by the 3rd and 4th places, which will receive $350,000 and $300,000, respectively.

The 3rd and 4th of the group will receive $200 000 and $150,000 each, respectively.

CAF, in a statement, said it remains committed to developing and growing women’s football in Africa, and the objective of President Motsepe is to invest in youth academies for boys and girls and to continue increasing the prize monies of all ACF competitions to make them globally competitive and attractive.

The statement added that each of the participating teams will receive at least $150,000 for their participation in the 2024 Champions League to be held in Morocco.
