John Dramani Mahama, the NDC’s presidential candidate, has stated that voting for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is an endorsement of mismanagement, incompetence, and corruption.
The former president lamented that the current government has thrown the country into unprecedented hardship.
He stated that Ghanaians’ living conditions have deteriorated, necessitating a massive vote against the NPP and in favour of the NDC in order to reset the economy and provide leadership that will help restore hope and create better opportunities.
” Voting for the NPP in the 2024 elections demonstrates that you have supported eight years of mismanagement, incompetence, economic crisis, poor living conditions, and reckless borrowing. Voting for Bawumia indicates that you support their incompetence. So, if you are against their mismanagement, you must vote them out on December 7. The elephant deserves to be in the bush, not with humans. It was about time that the elephant that came in a few years ago and destroyed our livelihoods was chased back into the bush.
Businesses are struggling. Some business owners have lost their capital and have ceased operations. Several foreign investors who came into the country to set up businesses under the NDC have all left and relocated to Cote d’voire,” he said during a campaign stop in Enchi, Western North Region.
