Kpando Heart of Lions assistant coach Daniel Nii Adjei has disclosed that the focus for the team is not to win the Premier League.
He said that the focus of the team at the moment is to stay in the league and not to win the cup.
The assistant coach opined that it was too early for them to think about winning the league.
“For now, the mindset is not on winning the league because it is too early. We want just to stay in the league. That is our wish now because we don’t want to be struggling and fighting when we go to the second round.
So we want to get to a place where we can be confident that any match that we are going in we know that we have something to stand on. So the main aim is to stay in the league,” he said on Rainbow Sports.
He added that they will work on their goal-scoring abilities and the organisation of the team and was hopeful everything would be fine in their next game.
He said you cannot win in every game because in every game, there is a different situation the team would face.
