Justine Kodua Frimong, General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), has stated categorically that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will win the presidential election, and nothing can stop that victory.
Speaking during the party’s final rally at the University of Ghana Sports Park, the private legal practitioner posited that nothing can stop the victory of Dr. Bawumia come December 7.
He declared,’We are winning the elections. We are winning the elections. Nothing can change it. Nothing can stop our victory. Nothing can stop our victory. Bawumia is the incoming president. Nothing can change it. NDC cannot stop it.
He said the upcoming elections are hinged on the contest between policies and not tribal or religious sentiments.
To those campaigning along tribal and religious lines, he slammed them, describing their campaign as divisive and discriminatory.
He went on to state that the regions have all accepted that it is possible with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as their president.
He said,’The NDC has realised they will lose the Saturday election. Sensing their impending defeat, they have now resorted to tribal politics and religious discrimination.
He added, Never in the history of Ghana have we witnessed an era where some people use religion to campaign because we are one people, and our focus is just to have competent people manage the country.
