Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon Madam Lydia Seyram Alhassan has described the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) as a party that prioritises the welfare of Ghanaians when voted into office.
The Sanitation Minister stated that through the implementation of the free technical and vocational education, several young people have had the opportunity to go to school with all the various technical and vocational schools filled to capacity.
She said the NPP prioritises health, and currently, the Prisons Service, which does not have a hospital, will soon have a hospital because the government is constructing a hospital for the service in her constituency.
The MP noted that the NPP equalises opportunities for both men and women and, through policy, has made available 50 percent scholarship opportunities for women just as men enjoy.
Madam Alhassan said the former President Kufour introduced the free maternal care, and a vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will expand this initiative.
She encouraged her constituents to vote massively for the NPP and reward the party for ”several things that the party has done for you. We need you to turn out in large numbers on Saturday to vote for the NPP.
