Ghanaian management consultant and accountant Marricke Kofi Gane has asked Ghanaians to vote out the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the mess they have created.
Mr. Gane said the government has supervised the highest national debt in our fourth republican history, taken us back to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and messed up the economy.
In a Facebook post, Mr. Gane indicated that for the past eight years, the NPP rewarded the goodwill Ghanaians gave with the Domestic Debt Exchange Programme (DDEP), giving pensioners a crude haircut in their investments.
He also lamented that the NPP left the county’s economy in a junk state and a depreciated cedi, and yet, they keep flaunting their suspect wealth.
To him, if the NPP could give us the paradise they are now promising us, they would not have destroyed it in the first place.
He wrote “For 8 years, the NPP rewarded our Goodwill by giving DDEP haircuts to the pension investments of our parents – people died. They led us into the highest National Debt since the 4th Republic began; took us back to the IMF; Supervised galamsey and the destruction of our water bodies; Depreciated the Cedi, left us a Junk-rated Economy… While gleefully flaunting their suspect wealth – No shame, No conscience.
NO!! NO!!! NO!! IF the NPP could give us the paradise they are now promising, they wouldn’t use 8 years, to destroy it First.
Tomorrow, KICK OUT the NPP!!!”
