Ghanaian gospel musician Empress Gifty has lost her mother.
An official statement issued by the Empress Ministry said the late mother, Evangelist Agnes Annan, an actress, died on Saturday, December 14, 2024, after a short illness.
The statement described her as a pillar of strength and love for her family.

It is with deep sorrow that I announce the unfortunate passing of my mother, Evangelist Agnes Annan, today after a short illness.
Evangelist Agnes Aba Annan, affectionately called Agaga, was a pillar of strength and love for our family.
