President Akufo-Addo has conferred on Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia the prestigious Order of the Star of Ghana, the nation’s second-highest honour.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo presented the award during a ceremony slated for December 30 at the International Conference Centre in Accra.
The Order of the Star of Ghana is awarded to individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the nation’s progress.
He was the sole recipient of this category for the pivotal role he played in steering Ghana’s economic transformation and championing digitisation.
Other appointees of the President were also honoured with prestigious National Awards.
