February 14, 2025
SSNITS

The Airport Branch of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust recognised Advanced Home Healthcare for timely payment of employee contributions as part of Customer Appreciation Day under the theme “My Customer, My Friend.”

Management of the branch, led by Branch Manager Asante Nimo, were at Advance Home Healthcare, Dworwulu in the Greater Accra region today, February 14, 2025, to congratulate her on her prompt payment of her employees’ contributions.

The gesture is to show appreciation to its loyal customers by distributing chocolates to traders who contribute to the scheme and an opportunity to interact with others to join the scheme and reap the essential financial benefits when they attain the pension age.

Addressing the media, Mr. Asante Nimo stated that the move is intended to improve customer service relations with contributors, particularly start-ups, as well as to maintain a strong and cordial working relationship with clients.

The celebration, he said, also coincides with National Chocolate Day, which is observed on February 14th, and SSNIT took advantage of the opportunity to recognise clients.

He indicated that the business has been one of their loyal employers ”who pays contributions of employees promptly. This company is an indigenous company, and it is a startup, and that is the reason why we have chosen her. We are here to celebrate with them and to appreciate their loyal, continuous work with SSNIT”.

Mr. Nimo particularly commended Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Araba K. Biney for her commitment to securing the future of her employees.

According to him, the CEO is very compliant with SSNIT; thus, it was critical for them to recognise her efforts, strengthen their relationship, and reaffirm SSNIT’s commitment to providing income security to all workers in Ghana.

He contended that every employer is required by law to pay contributions on time to avoid breaking the law.

‘’We encourage all employers to learn from the example of Advance Home Healthcare Limited, whether big or small, to ensure that their workers are enrolled in the scheme so that their future can be secured. This is not the first time we are doing the Customer Appreciation Day. Last year we were at the markets to celebrate with the traders because they are self-employed. Whether self-employed or in formal employment, you are supposed to secure your future. I want to stress that SSNIT is the only scheme that provides a pension for life, and it is important that every employer ensure their employees are enrolled in the scheme so that they will have a secure future.’’

On her part, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Araba K. Biney expressed her gratitude to SSNIT for the honour done her.

She said,’I will like to express our sincere gratitude to SSNIT for this gesture. It is truly encouraging to see SSNIT recognise and appreciate start-ups like ours. This will not only strengthen our relationship but also reinforce the importance of securing the future of our employees through the payment of our social security contributions. We thank SSNIT for the recognition and look forward to continued collaboration.’’
