The owner and life patron of Asante Kotoko SC, Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has called for justice for the late Francis Yaw Frimpong, commonly known as ‘Nana Pooley.’.
The traditional ruler believes a human being had been killed, and it does not matter whether he was killed in or outside the stadium; justice must be served.
The Asantehene noted that the law must hold accountable those responsible for the senseless killing, regardless of the circumstances.
“Whether it was in or outside the stadium, you’ve killed a human being, and the law must deal with you,” Otumfuo Osei Tutu II said.
He stressed that the death of the individual should not be treated with kid gloves and that the perpetrators of such heinous crimes must face the consequences of their actions.
The death of the late footballer’s lover occurred during a football match between Nsoatreman FC and Asante Kotoko SC at Nsoatre on February 2, 2025.
