According to the Union, its operations would include all sports, not only football.

Leadership of the Union noted that their key focus is to establish a union dedicated to rallying behind our athletes at local and international matches, tournaments, and competitions.

Delivering the speech at the launch, President of the Union Emmanuel Gyamfi indicated that “As Ghanaians, we all share a love for sports that transcends boundaries. Whether it’s football, athletics, boxing, or any other sport, we know that the unwavering support of fans fuels the spirit of our teams and drives them to victory. That is why we are here today to formally establish a union dedicated to rallying behind our athletes at local and international matches, tournaments, and competitions.”

He added that our mission is simple yet powerful: to passionately support and cheer on all our national sporting teams. To inspire success, celebrate victories, and uphold the nation’s sporting pride during and beyond every game. We believe that our collective voice, energy, and presence will motivate our teams to give their all, knowing they have a nation behind them every step of the way.”

He also announced plans by the Union to regularly donate to orphanage homes, assist the less privileged, among others.

“Beyond just cheering and singing in the stands, our vision is even greater: to create an electrifying and supportive atmosphere that empowers our national sporting teams to strive for gold and beyond. We are not just supporters; we are an integral part of the game, a force that pushes our athletes to achieve greatness on the world stage.

However, our commitment goes beyond the stadium. As an organisation, we recognise that true national development is about lifting each other up, both in sports and in society. That is why we are making it a priority to give back to our communities. In addition to supporting our teams, we will dedicate time and resources to donating to orphanage homes, assisting the less privileged in our society, and supporting schools across the country. By doing this, we hope to contribute to the holistic development of our nation, one cheer, one act of kindness, one victory at a time.”

He appealed to Ghanaians to support the Union to achieve its objectives.

“As we embark on this journey, I extend an open invitation to all Ghanaians, whether at home or abroad, to join us. This is not just about being a fan; it is about being a part of something greater than ourselves. It is about standing together, united in purpose, and showing the world what it means to be truly unstoppable.”
