Premier League Club Accra Hearts of Oak has been handed a Ghc 20,000 fine, Ghc 10,000 of which is suspended for the rest of the season.
The fine was handed to the team by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Hearts of Oak was founded guilty of allowing unaccredited supporters into the safe zone during their game against Young Apostles FC on March 8, 2025.
The unaccredited supporters, according to the GFA, entered the safe zone, compromising matchday security and bringing the game into disrepute.
In its update to the Ghanaian public, the GFA said the team has also been warned that any further misconduct will attract severe sanctions.
