President and bankroller of Cheetah FC Abdul-Hayye Yartey has opined that it is too early to evaluate the performance of Sports and Recreation Minister Kofi Adams.
The brand expert and president of the Ghana Body Building indicated that the minister should be given more time in his administration so that he can be evaluated objectively.
Speaking with Rainbow Sports, he stated that critics should give him time to find his feet.
I don’t like judging officials so early in their work. I believe we should allow him to work. I don’t want to discuss or analyse his work thus far because it is too early.”
When asked which areas the minister should consider to improve sports in Ghana, he proposed to the minister to invest in sports infrastructure.
He noted that we need sports infrastructure that meets internal standards while improving on the maintenance of existing ones.
