National Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Stephen Ntim, has taken a temporary break from the party’s ongoing ‘’Thank You Tour’.
He disclosed this in a statement issued today, Thursday, May 1, 2025, by the party’s Director of Communications, Richard Ahiagbah.
The party explained that the chairman stepped away from the tour to attend to other equally important commitments and is expected to rejoin the exercise in due course.
According to the statement, Mr Ntim “remains fully committed to the tour” and has no intention of abandoning it.

The party’s 2024 presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, together with the party’s leadership, is set to embark on a nationwide ‘Thank You Tour’.
The tour, starting on Saturday, 26th April 2025, is to help the party express the heartfelt gratitude of the presidential candidate, the campaign team, and the party to members of the NPP and the general public for their immense support throughout the 2024 electoral season.
The Thank You Tour, themed “In All Things, Give Thanks to God” (1 Thessalonians 5:18), serves as a reflection of the party’s faith-based values and acknowledgement of divine guidance throughout the electoral process.
