The Bank of Ghana has released a new list of authorised Primary Dealer Systems (PDs) and Bond Market Specialists (BMSs).
A statement issued by the central bank said it worked in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance to complete the review and approval of these firms.
The BoG has therefore notified all banks and non-bank financial institutions of the list.
The revised list of primary dealers is twelve (12), whereas the BMDs are eight (8).
ABSA Ghana Limited, ADB PLC, ARB Apex Bank, Black Star Brokerage Limited, CalBank PLC, Consolidated Bank Ghana Limited, Databank Brokerage Limited, Ecobank Ghana PLC, Fidelity Bank Ghana, GCB Bank, Obsidian Archermar Limited and Stanbic Ghana Limited are the approved list of primary dealers.
The eight approved Bond Market Specialists are ABSA Ghana Limited, Black Star Brokerage Limited, CalBank PLC, Databank Brokerage Limited, Ecobank Ghana PLC, Fidelity Bank Ghana, GCB Bank, and Stanbic Ghana.
