Honourable Rev. Dr Kwaku Addo, Member of Parliament for the Ablekuma West constituency, has inaugurated a cleanliness campaign in Dansoman Otodor to improve drainage systems and reduce flooding.

Honourable Addo is urging residents to support the initiative, which seeks to create a conducive environment and prevent flooding.
The MP has expressed his determination to continue the sanitation exercise until all issues are resolved.

He plans to address obstructions in waterways, including demolishing structures that block drainage, to ensure proper water flow.

Furthermore, Honourable Addo wishes to engage residents through one-on-one discussions, encouraging collective support for the initiative to improve the area’s sanitation and prevent flooding.
The MP’s commitment to resolving sanitation issues in the area has been commended by residents.
By adopting a proactive approach to clearing obstructions and engaging with residents, he hopes to create a cleaner and safer environment for the community.

“The initiative to demolish structures blocking drainage and improve gutter systems will likely have a positive impact on preventing flooding and promoting public health,” he stated.
Honourable Addo also aims to foster a sense of community ownership and responsibility, encouraging residents to work together to maintain the area’s cleanliness and infrastructure.
