President John Dramani Mahama has nominated Dr Paa Kwesi Baidoo as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi.
He is replacing the immediate past CEO, Prof. Otchere Addai-Mensah, who was relieved of his duties.
The new appointment was confirmed in an official statement dated April 30, 2025, and signed by Callistus Mahama, Secretary to the President.
The Secretary to the President directed the regularisation of Dr Baidoo’s nomination by the Ghana Health Service and Teaching Hospitals Act, 1996 (Act 525), as amended.
