Dannyfii Abrantie, host of ‘Away Bus’ on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, has been named Greater Accra Drive Time Show Host of the Year at the 14th City Hills Foklex Media Awards.
The accomplished presenter and DJ was a nominee in the Drive Time Host of the Year category for the Greater Accra Region.
With 11,849 votes, he toppled Wofa K of Radio Gold, Dr Prekese of Onuan Fm, and CJ Winters,.Magic FM to win the award.
The annual awards ceremony honours outstanding achievements and contributions of television and radio journalists.
In an interview with Rainbowradioonline.com, Abrantie expressed gratitude to the organizers for the recognition.
He noted that the award comes at a time of increased competition, underscoring the need for him to enhance his efforts in serving listeners.
The award, he said, validates the quality of his work, adding that it motivates him to elevate his craft.
