Former Chief Justice of Ghana, Justice Kwasi Anin-Yeboah, has been elected as a Deputy Chairperson of the FIFA Adjudicatory Chamber for a four-year term.
The announcement was made during the 75th FIFA Congress held in Asunción, Paraguay.
In his new role, Justice Anin-Yeboah will play a critical part in upholding ethics in football. The Adjudicatory Chamber is tasked with reviewing reports submitted by the Investigatory Chamber, deciding on whether cases should proceed or be closed, and imposing appropriate sanctions based on FIFA’s statutes and codes of conduct.
Justice Anin-Yeboah brings a wealth of experience to the position. He served as the 14th Chief Justice of Ghana and has been actively involved in football governance, having worked with FIFA and the Ghana Football Association. His legal acumen and prior engagement with the sport are expected to strengthen the integrity of FIFA’s judicial processes.
The FIFA Adjudicatory Chamber now comprises the following members:

Justice Anin-Yeboah’s appointment is widely seen as a boost for African representation in international sports governance and a reinforcement of FIFA’s commitment to integrity and ethical conduct in global football.
