President John Dramani Mahama has announced that he will set up an inter-ministerial implementation committee tasked with coordinating all actions stemming from the recently presented National Economic Dialogue report.
He disclosed this when he received the report from the National Economic Dialogue, which was held a few months ago.
According to him, he remains committed to ensuring that the outcomes of the dialogue translate into concrete policy measures and impactful action.
He noted that the committee will be tasked with publishing its final implementation bulletin by August 202.
This is to provide the public with updates on the progress made and the steps taken to address the recommendations of the dialogue.
“In the coming days, we will issue an executive directive establishing an inter-ministerial implementation committee to coordinate all actions flowing from the dialogue report.
“That committee will include civil society and private sector observers and will publish its final implementation bulletin by August 2025.”
