Ghana’s Deputy Minister of Education Dr Clement Apaak has reacted to the fallout between United States President Donald Trump and former head of the ‘Department of Government Efficiency’ (DOGE).
Dr Apaak, who recently slammed Donald Trump for his attack on South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, described the fallout between the US President and the Tesla owner as a good omen.
A feud has occurred between Donald Trump and Elon Musk, generating global interest with varied opinions from people.
The two former friends engaged in a heated exchange online, with Elon Musk denouncing Trump’s flagship ’One Big Beautiful Bill – an initiative described as a sweeping tax cut and spending package – calling it a ’disgusting abomination” that will increase U.S. debt.
Elon Musk had also called for the impeachment of Trump, warning that his tax cut could crash the economy of the US.
Trump, on the other hand, publicly labelled Musk as ‘’crazy’’, saying ‘’he’d lost his mind’’, and announced his decision to pull all government contracts from Musk’s firms, including SpaceX.
Trump further accused Musk of betraying him despite the generous campaign support he received from him.
Commenting on this feud, Dr Clement Apaak noted that this was a good omen for the good of humanity, adding that the partnership between them was unholy.
He also labelled it as the most dangerous partnership, praying that the two former friends never reconcile.
He stated ”The fallout between Trump and Musk is a good omen for our common humanity. I’ve been of the view that the partnership between the President of most powerful nation on earth and the richest man on earth was unholy and infact dangerous. May they never reconcile”.
