Member of Parliament for Asunafo North, Hon. Haruna Mohammed, has lauded President John Dramani Mahama’s initiative to establish the National Prayers and Thanksgiving Services.

In an exclusive interview with Bohyeba Afriyie, Rainbow Radio International parliamentary correspondent, he praised the president for bringing together all political parties and religious leaders through the National Prayer and Thanksgiving programme, promoting peace and unity among Ghanaians.
Hon. Mohammed commended President Mahama for appointing Hon. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah as the CEO of National Prayer and Thanksgiving Services, citing his ability to unite Ghanaians.
He expressed hope that the prayers will bring God’s blessings to the country, enabling the successful implementation of President Mahama’s “Reset” agenda.
Hon. Mohammed assured Ghanaians that subsequent events will be massive and that Ghana will rise again under President Mahama’s leadership.
He also contrasted the National Prayer Initiative with the construction of a National Cathedral, suggesting that visionary leadership is more important than grand projects.
