Ghanaian highlife musician Charles JoJo Fosu, aka Daddy Lumbar, has died.
He died earlier on Saturday, July 26, 2025.
Lawyer for the Fosu family, Fati Ali Yallah, confirmed the passing of the musician in a statement.
She asked the Ghanaian public to respect the privacy of the family as they mourn their departed relative and the music icon.
“During this time of immense loss, we respectfully request privacy for the family and loved ones as they navigate this profound grief.”
She added that “Details of funeral arrangements will be shared in the coming days.”
