In a Facebook post, Dr. Forson noted that corruption and mismanagement have severely impacted the company, bringing it to a state of distress.

Consequently, he has tasked the new board with restoring transparency, efficiency, and public trust in the institution.

The 11-member Board will be chaired by Mr. Nana Meisu.

Below is the full statement by the Minsiter

Earlier, I inaugurated the new Governing Board of the Produce Buying Company (PBC) Limited.

While this marks a new chapter, I must express my deep concern about the state of affairs at PBC.

The company has, sadly, been brought to its knees by mismanagement and corruption.

It is unacceptable that PBC cannot even pay its workers. This must not continue.

To the newly sworn-in Board, led by Mr. Nana Meisu Adu, the task ahead is enormous but necessary.

You have a critical responsibility to restore transparency, efficiency, and public confidence in this institution.

The future of PBC depends on your actions. You must not fail.

Let us work together to turn things around and return PBC to the path of viability and integrity.

Congratulations to the new Board Members:

  1. Mr. Nana Meisu Adu – Chairperson
  2. Mr. Seidu Yonye – Managing Director
  3. Mr. Imoro Sulemana – Member
  4. Ms. Pauline Adobea Dadzawa – Member
  5. Mr. Emmanuel Fuachie – Member
  6. Mr. Kwamina Amosa Coleman-Paittoo – Member
  7. Mr. Dominic Azimbe Azumah – Member
  8. Dr. Peter Afari – Member
  9. Nana Samuel Yaw Akuoko – Member
  10. Mr. Sampson Ashong – Member
  11. Mr. Collins Suntaa Kabuga – Member

Let us make this a turning point for PBC.
