Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, former Member of Parliament for Assin Central, has formally picked his nomination forms to participate in the 2026 presidential primaries.
Some incumbent Members of Parliament, including Stephen Amoah (Sticka), MP for Nhyiaeso, Kwaku Kwarteng, MP for Obuasi West, and Charles Forson, MP for Tema Central, on Tuesday August 5, 2025 picked forms on behalf of aspiring candidates.
The New Patriotic Party recently announced the nomination process for its eagerly anticipated presidential primaries.
The nomination forms are priced at GH₵100,000, with a final filing fee of GH₵500,000.
According to the published guidelines, the presidential primaries are scheduled for Saturday, January 31, 2026.
The nomination period commenced on July 29, 2025, and will conclude on Thursday, August 28, 2025, exactly one month later.
