Ghanaian prophet Regal Bismark Nana Boateng, Founder, Headquarters of Grace Prophetic Minsitryhas endorsed a new directive from the Office of the Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations, which requires religious leaders to submit prophecies of national significance for review.

While he sees the move as a positive step toward bringing sanity to the prophetic ministry, he cautions that its implementation must be honest and not a tool to suppress prophets.

The directive, issued on August 10, 2025, by the Office of the Presidential Envoy, led by Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, calls for religious leaders to submit prophecies concerning high-profile political figures, national security, governance, or public stability.

This is intended to curb what the office sees as a growing problem of prophets overstepping ethical boundaries with their pronouncements.

Prophet Regal believes the new policy could help address a long-standing challenge for prophets: gaining access to the people they prophesy about. He sees the directive as a way to engage with these individuals and take necessary steps.

However, he raises a critical question about who will be tasked with reviewing these prophecies.

”I believe the directive is a good call. It will help us get access to the personalities we are prophesying about. We’ve had difficulties in the past reaching these individuals, and this directive would address that challenge. I support it. However, the key question is, who will be reviewing these prophecies? What is the capacity and competence of the individual? Does he or she have any knowledge about the prophetic ministry?”
