Ghanaian prophet, Regal Bismark Nana Boateng, has made a significant appeal to national authorities, urging them to mobilize the country for a period of sustained prayer.
According to the prophet, the National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving held in July, while opening the heavens for blessings, also triggered a backlash from the demonic realm, bringing with it “dark clouds.”
Speaking on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM’s Nyankonton Mu Nsem, Boateng explained that while the national prayers brought blessings to Ghana, the “evil ones also did their part.” He commended President Mahama for organizing the initial event but stressed the need for a more intensive, nationwide prayer effort to counter these forces and secure divine protection for the nation.
“This is the time we must pray as a country, regardless of our faith,” he said. “The heavens have been opened, so every kind of spirit is now hovering around, and we must pray for protection.”
Boateng further advised his fellow prophets to remain firm in their faith and “speak the mind of God,” rather than engaging in prophecies of doom.
He emphasised that as a nation of believers, Ghanaians should take prophecies seriously and not passively allow negative spiritual influences to take hold. “We should not sit and allow these things to get worse. We need to launch out into the deep because there are deeper things we need to seek,” he stated.
“As prophets, we are prepared to support the government with prayers. We are hopeful God will use us as vessels to protect Ghana. We should not overlook what is happening; the things we have seen over the past three days have made it impossible for us to sleep, so we are praying for the country.”
