Ghana Post has announced the temporary suspension of all mail services (letters, parcels, and EMS) to the USA, effective August 26, 2025.
According to a notice from the company, this decision follows a recent U.S. Executive Order that imposes import duties on packages entering the USA.
Ghana Post also stated that several of its partner airlines have temporarily suspended cargo services to the USA.
“We are working with the United States Postal Service and other airline partners to implement the new requirements and will communicate service restoration as soon as possible.
All other destinations remain unaffected.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.”
