President Mahama has appointed Ruth Dela Seddoh as Acting Deputy Director-General of the National Service Authority, effective January 22, 2025.
The appointment is subject to the mandatory advice of the NSA Governing Board in consultation with the Public Services Commission.
She has been requested to indicate her acceptance or otherwise of the appointment within 14 days.
Dr. Callistus Mahama, Secretary to the President, confirmed the appointment in a statement.
“I write to formally inform you that the President of the Republic in accordance with Article 195(1) of the Constitution and the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), has appointed you as the Acting Deputy Director-General of the National Service Authority pending receipt of the Constitutionally required advice of the governing Board, given in consultation with the Public Services Commission.
Your appointment takes effect from 22nd January, 2025.
I take this opportunity to congratulate you formally on your appointment.
Kindly indicate your acceptance or otherwise of this appointment, within fourteen (14) days of receipt of this letter.”
This appointment follows the reassignment of Felix Gyamfi, Acting Director-General of the National Service Authority, to the Ministry of Finance with immediate effect.
Available information suggests that the reassignment is part of a broader government reshuffle aimed at aligning key personnel with its economic management priorities.
