President John Dramani Mahama will meet with Civil Society Organizations and Religious Leaders on October 3, 2025.
The meeting, according to a statement issued by Dr. Callistus Mahama, the Executive Secretary to the President, will focus on illegal mining, popularly known as galamsey.
The meeting will be held at the Jubilee House at 12:00 noon.
Dr. Callistus Mahama indicated that the meeting aims to provide a platform for frank and constructive dialogue between the government and civil society on the menace of illegal mining.
It is to help the government harness collective expertise, perspectives, and solutions to address this national challenge.
