Former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings has passed away at the age of 76.
Details reaching Rainbowradioonline.com indicate that the founder of the 31st December Women’s Movement passed away in the early hours of Thursday, 23 October, at the Ridge Hospital in Accra.
She was born on 17 November 1948 in Cape Coast, Central Region.
No official statement has been issued by the family regarding her passing.
Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings, wife of the late former President Jerry John Rawlings, founded the National Democratic Party (NDP) after she left the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) following her defeat in a presidential primary which she contested with the late John Evans Atta Mills.
