He opined that although refereeing has improved, some referees are underperforming.

He made these remarks in an interview with Fantastic K Gee on Rainbow Sports on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM.

“I can state that referees are doing their best; however, some of them are terrible at what they do. Some referees are the reason we witness chaos during matches. I recall a match between Kotoko and another team where the referee’s officiating was subpar. He made some questionable decisions, including denying a clear penalty to Hearts of Lions. These decisions create confusion in our games.”

He also noted that there have been improvements in the local league compared to last season.

Dan Quaye further observed that some teams are performing well since the league commenced.

He specifically highlighted Medeama FC as one of the teams currently in top form and performing exceptionally well.
