The British High Commissioner to Ghana, Mr Christian Rogg, has paid a courtesy call on Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie to deepen collaboration in the tourism, culture and creative arts sector.
He announced that His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh will visit Ghana next week for a two-day cultural diplomacy tour focused on conservation, education, youth development and the performing arts.
Hon. Gomashie commended the UK’s long-standing support, especially through the British Council, and highlighted her commitment to strengthening capacity building within Ghana’s creative sector.

The meeting also discussed UK–Ghana diaspora engagement, the “London to Accra” campaign and preparations for the 6 January Diaspora Summit.
Both parties reaffirmed their readiness to enhance cultural, economic and creative industry partnerships, including opportunities in heritage conservation and event infrastructure.
