Rainbow Radio’s DJ Pho has emerged as the Mobile DJ of the Year at the 2025 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards. He toppled DJ Floppy, DJ Filter, DJ Lord OTB, DJ Wallpaper, DJ Dela, DJ Sly King, and DJ Speech to win this category.
The event, powered by Smirnoff, was held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Palms Convention Center at 7 PM.
He won the Event DJ in 2024, making his victory in 2025 affirm his authority as the country’s best mobile DJ.
DJ Pho indicated that winning this year’s award has proven that he has remained dedicated and committed to what he does best.
He noted that people are observing from afar, and therefore it is important to put in the work, as the reward will follow when the time is due.
”Hard work pays, and I think my hard work continues to pay off. I have invested a lot of time, effort, and seriousness into my craft. I respect the job I do, and for that reason, people see the quality in what I deliver.”
He has been booked for numerous prestigious occasions, such as the 3i Africa Summit, African Union Gala, Bank of Ghana Social Dinner, and Democracy Cup. DJ Pho extended gratitude to the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards board and sponsors like Smirnoff and Guinness Ghana.
He also expressed thanks to the Ghanaian public for their support.
The 2025 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, powered by Smirnoff, saw great performances from Medikal, Fameye, Keche, Lali x Lola, and Merqury Quaye, often referred to as “Father of all DJs”.
