Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II will present the final report on the mediation of the Bawku conflict to President John Dramani Mahama on December 16, 2025.
The presentation ceremony will take place at the Jubilee House, according to a statement issued by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Government Spokesperson.
The event is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II was appointed to mediate the Bawku chieftaincy conflict in the Upper East Region as part of efforts to address the longstanding dispute in the area.
The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II concluded the mediation efforts in the Bawku conflict on December 1, 2025.
The Bawku conflict, which is between two ethnic groups, the Kusaug and Mamprugu, has spanned years, resulting in the loss of many lives.
