A nationwide survey conducted by Global InfoAnalytics has disclosed that many voters support key proposals outlined in the Constitutional Review Commission’s report issued earlier this month.
Fifty-seven percent of voters surveyed said they support the proposal, while 36 percent are opposed; seven percent indicated they are undecided.
The survey also reveals strong approval for separating parliamentary and ministerial roles.
The results from the survey come after the Constitutional Review Committee submitted its report to President John Dramani Mahama with some sweeping reforms, including reducing the age limit to contest a presidential election from 40 to 30 and increasing the term limit from 4 to 5 years while maintaining the two-term limit.
According to the findings, 58 percent of respondents favor a ban on members of parliament serving as ministers, compared with 32 percent who oppose the idea; 10 percent said they have no clear position on the matter.
The poll found that 55 percent of voters are in favour of lowering the age limit from 40 to 30, while 35 percent are against it, and another 10 percent expressed no opinion.
Global InfoAnalytics carried out the survey between December 1 and December 21, 2025, using a combination of online questionnaires, telephone interviews, and in-person interviews. The poll sampled 13,495 registered voters from across the country.
