Chelsea FC, an English Premier League club, has officially appointed Liam Rosenior as its new head coach.
He succeeds Enzo Maresca, who was recently relieved of his duties.
In a statement to the club’s media, the former RC Strasbourg coach expressed his commitment to protecting and preserving Chelsea’s trophy-winning history, describing it as a key part of his new role.
He also described his role as an exciting one, promising to build a team that reflects the values in every game that the team will play.
“I am extremely humbled and honoured to be appointed Head Coach of Chelsea Football Club. This is a club with a unique spirit and a proud history of winning trophies. My job is to protect that identity and create a team that reflects these values in every game we play as we continue winning trophies.”
“I am excited to work with this extremely talented group of players and staff, to build strong connections on and off the pitch, and to create an environment where everyone feels united and driven by the same goal,” he added.
