The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has issued guidelines for its upcoming Ayawaso East parliamentary primary in the Greater Accra Region.
A press release issued by the party dated January 20, 2026, said nomination forms for the primary would be obtained from and submitted to the Greater Accra Regional Office of the party upon completion.
The official delegates list, the party said, would be made available to aspirants only after verification of payment of the approved filing fees into the party’s official account.
The cost of nomination forms has been set at GH₵5,000, while the filing fee stands at GH₵40,000.
However, the party announced a 50 percent reduction in the filing fee for female aspirants and persons living with disabilities (PLWDs).
It indicated that no cheques or bankers’ drafts would be accepted, adding that all payments must be made directly into the NDC’s official bank account at UMB, Adabraka Branch.
The party further announced that the official timetable for the primaries has been attached to the notice and urged all aspirants and stakeholders to strictly adhere to the outlined timelines.
