Hon Ebenezer Kwaku Addo Donates Life-Saving Medical Equipment to Kenyasi Hospital

The Member of Parliament for Asutifi North Constituency, Hon. Ebenezer Kwaku Addo, has donated crucial medical equipment to the Kenyasi Hospital, aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery in the constituency.

The donated equipment includes oxygen cylinders, nebulisers, an ultrasound machine, and an oxygen concentrator. The Kenyasi District Hospital, which serves over 139 settlements in the Asutifi North District, lacked these basic necessities, hindering effective healthcare provision.

The MP’s donation has brought joy to the constituents, who praised Hon. Addo for his thoughtful gesture. Hospital authorities welcomed the MP, expressing gratitude for the much-needed equipment.

Speaking to the media, Hon. Kwaku Addo stated that he utilised the Health Fund from the District Assemblies Common Fund to procure the equipment, responding to the hospital’s request. He emphasised that the equipment will enable hospital staff to work efficiently, benefiting the community.

Additionally, the MP disclosed plans to drill and mechanise a borehole for the District Health Directorate, addressing water scarcity issues. He also announced renovations to the Gambia No. 1 Health Center and other CHIPS compounds, as well as organising free health screenings and renewing National Health Insurance for constituents.

Hon. Addo expressed his commitment to supporting the community, appealing for their continued support in his efforts to develop the Asutifi North Constituency.
