Prophet Nana Yaw Osei Tutu, popularly known as Prophet 99, has declared that it is impossible for Kennedy Agyapong to emerge victorious in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primary scheduled for tomorrow, January 31, 2026.
The General Overseer and Founder of Yehowa Beye Prayer Ministry asserted that no prophecy or political scenario would see the former Assin Central MP lead the party or the Republic of Ghana.
Speaking on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, the prophet was blunt about Agyapong’s prospects, suggesting that no amount of spiritual or physical effort would change the outcome.
> “Kennedy Agyapong can choose to dine with Lucifer, go to hell and heaven, he will not win the contest,” he stated.
Prophet 99 further predicted a landslide victory for the Vice President: “Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will defeat the rest of the candidates hands down. Per what God revealed to me, Kennedy Agyapong will be defeated and will retire by force from politics.”
According to the Prophet, the resistance to Agyapong’s candidacy is not just spiritual but also structural within the party.
He noted that the party elders do not approve of his candidacy.
The majority of delegates are unlikely to support him while the party leadership views him as a “liability” rather than an asset.
In a surprising turn, Prophet 99 looked beyond the immediate primary, prophesying that Bryan Acheampong is the figure the NPP will eventually rally behind after the Bawumia era.
“Dr Bawumia will win hands down, and after him, the NPP will settle on Bryan Acheampong as their presidential candidate. But as for Kennedy Agyapong, he will never be elected by the NPP to lead them.”
He dismissed rival prophecies that favour the businessman saying “I repeat, Kennedy Agyapong can go and hide in the pocket of Lucifer or his [own] pocket, he will never be elected by the delegates of the NPP as presidential candidate. The party are aware that Kennedy Agyapong is a liability, and so they will not waste their time.”
