Mavis Hawa Koomson, former Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East, has revealed she voted for former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia in the ongoing presidential primary of the New Patriotic Party.
She made the disclosure after casting her ballot in the constituency.
She first commended the Electoral Commission of Ghana for the organisation, the Police Service.
Speaking in an interview with the media, she said she described the process as so far so good.
“So far so good. The EC has set up for the exercise, and the organisation has been so good. The polling station executives are in; former executives and current constituency executives are also here to vote. I was the first to vote. I know you will ask me who I voted for. I vote for the candidate whose number represents the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.”

She also assured that she will ensure that the election is organised in a peaceful manner.
“I am going to make sure that the process is peaceful. Some people have made attempts to hoot at me, but I will not pay attention to them. That is the other side of Hawa Koomson. No matter the provocation, I will not respond. But if I were to react, they would claim I am a bad person.”
