Former Accra Hearts of Oak striker Wisdom Agblexo has expressed concern over the club’s current performance, stating that there is no “magician” in the current team making the difference in crucial moments.
In an exclusive interview on Rainbow Radio, Agblexo emphasised that although the Phobians have quality players, there is no player with exceptional creativity and confidence who can turn tight matches around.
“In our time, we had players who could decide games with a moment of brilliance, the likes of Don Bortey, Ishmael Addo, Osei Kuffour, Charles Taylor and co., but now, the team plays well at times, but when things get tough, there is no individual who can unlock defences or inspire the team to victory.”
“One cannot predict the current Hearts of Oak will win the match; the only prediction is to pray for the team,” he added.
Wisdom Agblexo played for Accra Hearts of Oak in the 2004-2005 season, played 23 games, and scored 12 goals.
