Adjetey Anang a cast member of the stage play ‘I Told You So’, has expressed pride, stating that the original cast of the celebrated classic by Bob Cole would be pleased with the current production.
According to him, the original cast would not only feel proud but would also applaud the cast of the play.
This statement was made in response to a question posed by host Eddie Ray during the mid-morning show on Rainbow Radio. Fiifi Coleman Productions is reviving the classic work by Bob Cole, widely cherished for its exploration of family, greed, morality, and enduring values that shape Ghanaian society.
The production boasts an ensemble cast of Ghanaian stars, including Fred Amugi, Mr. Beautiful, Clemento Suarez, Adjetey Anang, and highlife icon Gyedu-Blay Ambolley, who will make his debut in a stage play, alongside TikTok sensation Deaconess Abokoma.
The organizers anticipate that the combined artistry will deliver a vibrant, humorous, and emotionally engaging experience for the audience.
Adjetey Anang noted that patrons would receive value for their money when they attend the play at the National Theatre.
He also announced that Ghanaians aged 60 and above would enjoy complimentary admission to the opening night, courtesy of Fiifi Coleman Productions in partnership with the National Theatre of Ghana and the National Film Authority.
To access this offer, seniors are required to present a valid ID at the National Theatre.
Adjetey Anang emphasised that the production is a tribute to Bob Cole’s legacy, highlighting the timeless lessons embedded in Ghanaian theatre.
The play will stage on March 5 and 6 at 7:00 pm, and March 7 and 8 at 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm
Tickets are selling at GHS 200 regular and GHS 300 VIP.
