The International Youth Empowerment Summit (iYES), one of Ghana’s most influential youth development platforms, is set to return in 2026 with renewed vision and expanded partnerships. Organised by Brian Amoateng in partnership with the National Youth Authority (NYA), the four-day conference will take place from March 10 to March 13, 2026, at the UPSA Auditorium in Accra.

For the past twelve years, iYES has consistently served as a transformative platform, equipping young people across Ghana with practical knowledge, mentorship, and inspiration. The summit brings together leaders from governance, business, entrepreneurship, ministry, and creative industries to share experiences and insights aimed at shaping the next generation of leaders.

The 2026 edition will be held under the theme “Transgenerational Impact”. This year’s focus seeks to challenge young people to think beyond immediate success and instead build legacies that influence future generations. Discussions will centre on sustainable leadership, wealth creation, values-based influence, and the responsibility of today’s youth to shape tomorrow’s Ghana.

A distinguished lineup of speakers is expected at the summit, including Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, Pastor Jerry Eze, Dr Stanley Uzochukwu, Julius Debrah, Samira Bawumia, Richard Nii Armah Quaye, Rev. Eastwood Anaba, Dr Frank Ofosu-Appiah, Wode Maya, Daniel Amoateng, Samson Amoateng, and Beatrice Jones-Mensah Tayui, among others.

Also scheduled to speak is the Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority, Osman Abdulai Ayariga Esq, whose participation underscores the Authority’s commitment to youth empowerment, policy engagement, and national development.

The summit will feature structured morning and evening sessions, as well as interactive workshops designed to equip participants with practical tools for leadership and entrepreneurship.

To facilitate attendance, buses will operate from strategic points across Accra to transport participants daily to the venue. Participants will also benefit from free food and beverages provided by sponsors. The free drinks and water for the summit are being generously donated by PEEVA, alongside device giveaways including mobile phones and tablets.

Daily sessions will begin at 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, respectively. The summit will climax on Friday, March 13, 2026, with the National Youth All-Night scheduled for 8:00 PM.

Organisers say the 2026 edition aims not only to inspire but also to provoke long-term thinking among Ghana’s youth — encouraging them to build influence that transcends their generation.
