The Ministry of Health has taken immediate action by suspending Frederick Anaba, Principal of the College of Nursing, Nkanchina, pending a thorough investigation into alleged irregularities in admissions and the implementation of unapproved academic programmes.

This decision, as outlined in a press release dated March 12, 2026, is part of a broader administrative inquiry into the reported over-admission of students and unauthorised programme establishments.

According to the ministry, the suspension follows a query issued to Mr Anaba on February 19, 2026, concerning the institution’s 2025/2026 admissions process.
