Two people have been reportedly found dead following the collapse of the ANTS Experimental School building, which was also being used for a church service.
The collapse occurred on Sunday, March 29, 2026, while the service was in progress.
Search and rescue operations are currently underway at the site of the structural failure at the Experimental D/A School in Accra Newtown.
To ensure safety and prevent public intrusion, the police have cordoned off the entire scene.
Emergency responders, including the Ghana National Fire Service, the Police, the Ambulance Service, and NADMO, are working in close coordination to rescue those still trapped beneath the debris.
Additionally, Engineers and Planners have deployed heavy machinery to the site to assist with the rescue mission.
Ten people have already been retrieved alive from the scene and transported to the hospital for treatment.
However, it is believed that other people remain trapped following the collapse.
